Early Childhood
At Tor HaMidbar, early childhood programming focuses on quality education, parental involvement and sustainability.
Our nursery school, “Pao-Teva” is run by a cooperative of local parents, offers an excellent preschool education for both parents and their young children that in an environmentally-friendly and safe atmosphere.
The school’s values include: Quality Education (without television or electronic games and focusing on storytelling and a personal approach to each child), Healthy Food, Connection to Nature (Children can interact with pets and play in our large garden) and Parental Involvement.
Because of the success of Pao-Teva, Tor HaMidbar is establishing a pre school for children ages 3+ in cooperation with the Be’er Sheva municipality and the company “Kivunim”. The values of the new preschool will grow directly from the same values we have established at Pao-Teva.

Mifgashim is a learning center for parents and children that offers gatherings each morning for mothers on maternity leave, and in the evenings for both parents and children. Mifgashim encourages a community approach where the child serve as a connector between the family and the community and helps create a sustainable community.
